Primitive Seahorse Doll

This elegant, yet grungy :), seahorse doll is made from stained muslin/osnaburg.

His eyes are sewn on beads and his tail is wired for easy repositioning.

He has a thread hanger on the back for easy display/hanging.

He measures approx. 8" tall from top of head to curled tail.

Primitive Kissing Fish Wallhanging

What could be better than two fish in love. :)

These are made from stained muslin/osnaburg and have burlap fins which are attached with rusty safety pins.

They are flat and have a light amount of batting inside.

their eyes are sewn on vintage buttons.

They have a wire hanger attached for easy hanging/display.

This piece measures approx. 14" length.

Primitive Patriotic Pelican Doll/Make Do

This Americana pelican doll is made from stained muslin/osnaburg and has a handpainted and handstitched/sculpted face.

He's wearing a patriotic, Americana hat made from red ticking fabric with a blue/white star patterned fabric brim. I added a ring of Sweet Annie around the brim.

He's stuck on a wooden candlestick which will vary in color and slightly in size and has some fishnetting tied around the top.

He measures approx. 18" tall including hat and make do base.

Primitive Kooky Bat Doll

This crazy kooky bat doll is made from painted muslin/osnaburg.

It's wings are sewn on grungy stained black felt.

His eyes are vintage sewn on buttons and his mouth is handstitched/sculpted.

His fangs are painted wood and can be left off if desired.

He comes with a thread hanger on the back for easy hanging/display.

He measures approx. 11" width.

Primitive Halloween Slug Doll "Garden Witch"

Here's a good critter to have in your garden. :)

She's made from stained muslin/osnaburg and has sewn on bead eyes.

Her mouth is handstitched/sculpted.

She's wearing a witches hat with a pip berry ring attached. That could be substituted with a ring of Sweet Annie sprigs.

She has a witches' broom made from a grapevine twig and some great smelling Sweet Annie sprigs. It's safety pinned to her body since slugs don't have arms. :)

She measures approx. 9" length x 5" tall (not including hat)

**this slug can be made without the witches hat/broom as plain or with a ring of pip berries or sweet annie attached to her head instead.**

Primitive Silly Frog Doll/Make Do

Here's one hopin' frog!

He's made from painted and stained muslin/osnaburg and has sculpted rusty wire arms and legs.

His mouth is handstitched/sculpted and he's got a grungy stained red felt tongue.

He's got one sewn on vintage button eye and one embroidered "X" eye.

He's stuck on a rusty wire bed spring.

He measures approx. 12" tall which can vary due to differences in spring heights.

Primitive Alligator Doll

This grungy gator is made from painted muslin/osnaburg and has handpainted teeth and sewn on vintage button eyes.

his legs are thick twigs/sticks and he's got lots of small rusty jingle bells inset into his back.

He can come with a stained, grungy American flag affixed to his back or it can be left off.

This fellow measures approx. 3 1/2" tall x 31" length and .....he's guaranteed NOT to bite. :)

Primitive Flounder Fish Doll/Wallhanging

Here's one flat fishy! :)

He's made from stained muslin/osnaburg and has asewn on burlap side fin.

His top, bottom and back fin are stitched/sculpted.

His eyes are sewn on vintage buttons.

He comes with a grungy tag which says "One Flat Fish".

He measures approx. 12" length.

Primitive Mexican Jumping Bean

Ole'!

Here's one hoppin' creature..... Olde Crow Seed Co's version of a Mexican Jumping Bean.

He's made from stained muslin/osnaburg and has a handstitched/sculpted mouth.

He's got a needle felted raw sheep's wool mustache.

His hat is made from muslin and is painted and dusted with cinnamon.

He's stuck on a rusty wire bed spring.

He measures approx. 10 1/2" which can vary slightly with different springs used.

Primitive Cat Make Do "What Bird?"

This silly feline is made from painted and stained muslin/osnaburg and has black felt ears.

His one eye is a sewn on vintage button and the other is an embroidered "X".

His nose is handstitched/embroidered.

He's got a feather sticking out of his mouth and has a grungy tag attached which says "What Bird?" This is one guilty kitty! :)

He's stuck on a wooden candlestick which will vary.

This frightfully fun Halloween doll is made from painted, stained muslin/osnaburg.

His face is handpainted with a rusty nail nose and sewn on vintage button eyes.

He's got grapevine twig arms, legs and "top".

I attached a thread hanger to the back for easy hanging/display.

Primitive Venus Fly Trap Doll/Make Do

This crazy creature is made from stained red ticking fabric (outside) and a varying dark reddish orange patterned fabric (inside) .

It's "teeth" are made from frayed burlap and it's leaves are wired grungy green felt.

He's stuck on a rusty wire bedspring.

He measures approx. 12" tall and can be changed to different holiday patterned fabrics.

He's made from grungy stained muslin/osnaburg and has sewn on bead eyes.

His back is stitched/sculpted and he's got a long rusty tin wire tail.

His make do base is a short wooden candlestick.

Primitive Elephant Witch Doll

This fall favorite is made from stained muslin/osnaburg.

Her ears are stained grungy felt and her tail is twine with a rusty jingle bell attached.

Her legs are made of twigs.

She's wearing a witches hat (permanently attached) and "holding" a witches broom made from a twig and some great smelling Sweet Annie sprigs.

She measures approx. 8" tall (not including hat) x 14" length (from fanny to end of trunk)

Primitive Boston Red Sox Clam Doll

Here's one spirited sports fan clam! :)

His body is made from stained muslin/osnaburg.

His eyes are sewn on wooden beads and his mouth is handstitched/sculpted.

The inside of his shell is stained muslin/osnaburg and the outside is a stained Boston Red Sox patterned fabric.

He even comes with a permanently attached styrofoam "baseball" inside his shell. :)

He measures approx. 7" including shell.

**the outside fabric can be changed to other teams' fabrics.....please inquire about availibility **

This patriotic sea critter is made from an Americana print fabric and is heavily stained and coated with cinnamon.

Frankenfrog Doll

This Halloween Froggy doll is made from painted muslin/osnaburg and has grapevine twig arms and legs.

His eye is a vintage button and his other eye is a handstitched "X".

He has two natural bead "bolts" on either side of his head and a handstitched "scar" on the front of his face. :)

His mouth is handstitched/sculpted and his tongue is made from grungy stained felt.

I attached a thread hanger to his back for easy hanging/display.

He measures approx. 9 1/2".

Primitive Dammit Doll

This very primitive doll is made from stained muslin/osnaburg.

Has needlle felted raw sheep's wool for hair.

Mouth is handstitched/sculpted and has one "x" stitched eye and one vintage button eye.

Comes with a grungy tag with the following statement....

When you want to climb the wall, And stand right up and shout.

There's a little Dammit doll You cannot do without.
Just grasp it firmly by the legs, And find a place to slam it.

And as you whack the stuffing out Yell Dammit, Dammit, Dammit!
If Dammit's not a word you say Then twist its little neck

And grumble out repeatedly Oh Heck, Oh Heck, Oh Heck!

Meaures approx. 6" tall and comes with a thread hanger for easy display/hanging.

Primitive Flat Jellyfish Dolls (set of 3)

Each are made from stained muslin/osnaburg and have a small amount of batting inside but are otherwise flat and measure approx. 7" including tentacles.

Eyes are handsewn on vintage buttons and tentacles are made from various homespun fabric torn strips.

They each have a thread hanger on the back for easy display/hanging or can be displayed on an end table, hutch, coffeetable.

She Crab Doll

She's made from stained muslin/osnaburg and has vintage button eyes, and a handstitched/sculpted mouth.

Her claws are stained muslin/osnaburg with grapevine twigs for legs.

She's got a stained floral patterned back "shell" which varies with each she crab.

This can also be made as a male without the bow and with red ticking back fabric instead of floral fabric.

His tongue is made from rusty tin wire which curls out from his mouth.

His tail is needle felted with raw sheep's wool.

He measures approx. 18" length x 9" height.

Made from stained muslin/osnaburg and comes on a make do base, usually a wooden candlestick

or can be placed on a rusty tin cone.

Height does vary do to differences in bases.

Face is handpainted and beak is handstitched/sculpted.

Can be themed to holidays/seasons with Santa's hat, Witches Hat, etc.

Primitive Dodo Bird Doll/Make Do

This silly fellow is made from stained, grungy muslin or osnaburg and measures approx. 15" and

has a make do base of a potato masher.

His face is handpainted and his beak is handstitched/sculpted.

He also can be themed with seasonal accessories such as Santa hats, Witches Hat/broom, etc.

The Original Primitive Clam.

Measures approx. 7" width including shell.

Clam body is removable from shell and is made from stained, grungy muslin.

Mouth is handstitched/sculpted and eyes are sewn on beads.

Shell is made from muslin (inside) and red ticking (outside) and can be custom ordered with

different themed shell fabric. (sports teams, seasons/holidays, etc)
